Waking up every morning to this breathtaking mountain panorama was a delight! … The children were thrilled by the friendly animals – cows, a clever pig, and rabbits – that made the stay something truly special. Masitterhof is a charming and peaceful place. We were there with our large dog, who had plenty of space to run around and play with the calves. The view is incomparable, and you are right in the middle of nature. The owners are very warm-hearted and helpful, so we felt at home right away. A great plus is the well-stocked pantry, which offers everything travelers need, as well as the regional products, which we enjoyed very much! We regretted staying only four days; we would have loved never to leave.

A dream place to slow down, switch off and recharge … we are “repeat offenders” and we already know today that we will come back again. Warmth like that of these hosts is rare to find … for us it is always the feeling of coming home, like to friends. There were five of us and two dogs, in the “Orchid” apartment, which really has everything … from the wellness shower, to the new sauna, to the wonderful beds. In the pantry local delicacies are ready and waiting, and fresh milk from happy cows is delivered daily. Stay healthy, dear Marianne & dear Hans, until we meet again.
